Studio

Giltbrook Studios' soundstage was purpose-built to full IBA specification, not converted from a warehouse like many others. The studio is acoustically lined, with air handling, and equipped with a 900 amp lighting grid.

The basic dimensions of the studio are: 41' long x 32' wide (12.3 x 9.6m), 19' (5.7m) from the floor to the lighting grid, and 24' (7.2m) from the floor to the studio roof.

The studio is particularly suitable for chromakey (CSO overlay) shoots and is fitted with full-height blue and green Ultimatte curtains, as well as a 360 degree blackout curtain.

Due to legislation, power available on the studio floor is limited to 63 amps using industrial type 16 and 32 amp connectors (BS 4343) or 30 amps using domestic type 13 amp sockets. A mains supply suitable for powering OB vehicles is available to order when OB vehicles are parked outside.
